Cobham Heritage Day takes place in and around Church Street and St Andrew’s Church. The day will be opened by the Mayor of Elmbridge at 11.00am and culminates in a grand duck race on the River Mole at 4pm. There will be plenty of attractions to entertain the young and old.
For the adults there will be a display of vintage cars, an accordian orchestra, paintings by the Cobham Art Group, a jazz band, a caricaturist, a "Youth" exhibition inside St Andrew’s church and a visit to the top of the church bell tower plus plenty of stalls to browse. The Cobham Watermill will also be open and demonstrations will take place throughout the day. St Andrew’s Youth (SAY) present “For One Night Only” - Song and Dance from West End Musicals at 2:30pm, 4:30pm and 7pm in the Church. In addition, the gardens of Church Stile House, Lime House and Rose Lodge will be open to visit. Refreshments will also be served all day. The day will finish with the Duck Race which takes place on the river Mole between the Cobham Mill and the La Capana Restaurant. Knight Frank Estate Agents has kindly sponsored the race this year.
