75 Fairmile Lane Planning Objection 1. Proposal by Beaufield Homes to demolish existing 1930's character home (which was a convalescent home for Commonwealth soldier in WWII, hence the flagpole ) and build 5 4,500 sq foot homes on a plot where there is currently one 3000 sq. ft house. This contravenes existing density in the area and Elmbridge's own guidelines. New access road to be built and parking for 30 cars. 2. Garden is a haven for local wildlife including great crested newt ( protected under EU Law), bats, warbler bird and innumerable other species. No wildlife survey has been done. Developer cut down the large important trees immediately he acquired the land before TPO's could be activated. 3. It is a very narrow, windy part of the road, no footpaths and already a dangerous area. Objections must be in by Thursday 5 July 2007 The application may be inspected at the Town Planning Division, Elmbridge Borough Council, at the Civic Centre in Esher. If there are more than ten written objections, residents have the right to address the relevant Planning Sub-Committee concerning the planning application. Objections should be addressed to:
