Heritage Day 2009 Dear Member, Heritage Day is on Saturday 12 September 2009 and as ever we need lots of volunteers to help with the many jobs before, during and after Heritage Day. We need you to offer only 2 hours of your time and it's lots of fun! If you are really keen you can do a number of two-hour slots! If you've not helped before, but would like to do so now is your chance. If you've helped before and would like to help again this year we'd be delighted to see you, but you need to tell us. If you know of someone who may wish to help, do please contact them and ask that they get in touch with us. Please visit our volunteers page to see the list of jobs and a schedule of 2-hour slots for which you can volunteer. All volunteers will be entitled to park for free on the Leg O'Mutton field on Heritage Day and will be given some light refreshments. Please ring NORAH BETHELL on 01932 867796 to book your slot, or you can email ELIZABETH KENNEDY on elizabeth.kennedy@cobhamheritage.org.uk , but Norah will have to get back to you as she is co-ordinating the schedule. VOLUNTEER PARTY There will be a party for all volunteers involved in CCHT work and particularly for Heritage Day on SUNDAY 12 JULY so please come along and meet your fellow volunteers and please bring along anyone else prepared to "sign up"! Anyone who is unsure but thinks they would like to volunteer can talk about the jobs at the party and sign up then. So if you've already volunteered or think you might like to volunteer you will be most welcome. The party will take place at Church Street, Cobham from 6pm to 8pm and you should contact JOYCE ACHER to confirm your attendance on 01932 865224 or email her on joyce.acher@cobhamheritage.org.uk CLASSIC CARS We'd also like to hear from anyone who owns an old classic car and who would be prepared to have it on show on Heritage Day in the car park in Church Gate House. Please note that the Classic Car Park will be supervised from 8.30am to 5.30pm.
