The Medicine Garden's Paul Studholme will be attending the winner's reception at the House of Lords in March when he will also go into the grand final with the chance of winning the overall title. There will be ten, enterprise winners competing from all over England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are delighted to announce that our Chairman, Gerry Acher CBE LVO, has been honoured with a Knighthood in the 2012 New Year Honours for charitable services.
Gerry is involved with a number of major charities for which his contribution is recognised in this honour.
The Cobham Conservation and Heritage Trust website was updated on the 1st January 2012 to enable articles and information to be added more easily and to give it a more modern look.
Most of the content from the old website has been added although some sections are still being updated, such as the Heritage Day pages.

The Cobham Recreation Ground has received the most votes in Elmbridge and will become a Queen Elizabeth II Playing Field. Thank you to all those who voted.
We and the other community groups heard last Friday (12th Aug 2011) that the Utility Companies plan massive road disruption as they move to "trench" services to the new Motorway Service Area at Downside.
With the support of our local MP Mr Dominic Raab we are making the strongest representations at the lack of consultation and demanding this be rectified immediately and effectively.
