'Gerrard Winstanley and The Diggers' Talk - Sat 21 May 2016

The well known historian and broadcaster Michael Wood, presenter of numerous television documentary series, will be the key speaker at this event
in commemoration of the life of the late John Gurney a leading expert on Winstanley.

Gerrard Winstanley was a churchwarden at St Andrew's and the leader of a 17th century group of revolutionaries form Cobham known as the Diggers.

There will also be a panel of other historians discussing various aspects of Winstanley's life.

This event is free.
