Duck Race Results - Heritage Day 2012

Saturday 8th September 2012

Union Jack DuckThank you for everyone who supported this years Cobham Heritage Day by sponsoring Ducks for the main Duck Race and the special Big Duck Race in honour of the Team GB medal winners. We would especially like to thank Knight Frank Estate Agents for sponsoring both of these events.

This year there was a special additional duck race to honour the Great Britain Olympic medal winners and Usain Bolt. There were only 66 big ducks in total and just one prize of £500. We are pleased to annouce that Usain Bolt is not only the fastest man in the world but also the fastest Cobham duck, as the medal winner big duck named Usain Bolt also crossed the line first. The winner has been informed.

This year we sold all the main duck race tickets two hours before the race was due to start and unfortunately many missed out. Next year we recommend people buy their ducks during August from our stall in Hollyhedge Road, outside Waitrose or at Downside Sports Day. More details of where the duck tickets can be purchased will appear on this website a month before Heritage Day next year.

We are pleased to announce the winners of the main Duck race below. We will contact the winners during the coming week.
