Cobham Heritage Litterpicks to restart on Sun 27 Sept 2020

After due consideration and following what has been described by Elmbridge BC as a “litter epidemic” over the summer, we are delighted to recommence the monthly litterpicks. Although normally the first Sunday of the month, the next CCHT litterpick will be part of the Great British September Clean and will meet at 2 p.m. on Sunday 27th September 2020 meeting at Hollyhedge Car Park on Hollyhedge Road in Cobham centre (subject to the limitations below).

Government restrictions in place in relation to Covid are limiting numbers to 6 people at the moment (including the organiser). If you would like to take part, please email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Laurence will meet the lucky 5 on a first come first serve basis. Others who would like to do their own private litterpick on their own or in pairs can also contact Laurence to arrange loans of the equipment below.

High viz jackets, litter pickers and bin bags will be provided however participants are urged to take personal responsibility and bring their own gloves and discretionary face coverings as well as hand sanitiser and or course to maintain social distancing.

It will be an invaluable community service and we look forward to as many participants as possible. Thank you.”

Best Wishes
