Cobham Conservation and Heritage Trust

A big thank you to all our litter pickers who did such a great job on Sun 5 May

Cobham Heritage organised its first litter pick on Sunday 5th May 2019 led by Laurence Wells and a team of volunteers. What a fantastic job they did!

As can be seen from the photos below they collected an enormous amount of litter and this was just in the immediate vicinity of Church Street one of our important conservation areas.

The plan is to have regular monthly litter picks to cover different areas of Cobham and the local area. Please consider volunteering and help us to keep Cobham clean and tidy.

Please note the following two dates for your diaries, being the next litter picks:

  • Sunday 2 June 2019 at 2 pm, meeting by the Cricketers pub sign at the corner of Downside Common and Downside Road and
  • Sunday 7 July 2019 at 2 pm, meeting by No. 44 Furniture & Fine Things shop on the corner of the Portsmouth Road and Between Streets.

High Viz vests, litter pickers and rubbish bags will be provided but please bring along your own gloves and wear appropriate clothing.
