Cobham Recreation Ground Nominated

Cobham Recreation Ground has been nominated as a potential Queen Elizabeth II Playing Field.

The Cobham Recreation Ground2012 Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge is a fantastic programme to ensure that 2012 outdoor recreational spaces in communities all across the country are kept as a permanent living legacy of both Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee and the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Cobham Recreation GroundLocal Authorities have been invited to nominate a number of outdoor recreational spaces that they would be happy to protect as Queen Elizabeth II Fields and Cobham Recreation Ground was nominated together with Churchfields, Coronation, Long Ditton and Molesey Recreation Grounds.

You are invited to vote at www.qe2fields.com until 19 November to support your favourite local open space.

Cobham Recreation GroundJust go online and visit www.qe2fields.com. Enter KT11 in the 'Enter a Postcode' box in the purple 'Save a space for me' section and click the orange search icon. Click on the Cobham Recreation Ground entry and click on 'Vote for this Field'. The winner will then be designated as a Queen Elizabeth II Field.
