Heritage Day Duck Race 2013

Start of the Duck RaceOne of the major events which takes place on Heritage Day and organised by the Cobham Conservation & Heritage Trust is the Cobham Duck Race sponsored by Knight Frank Estate Agents. The duck race takes place on the river Mole between the Cobham Mill and the new Riverhill platform at the end of the High Street.

6000 plastic yellow ducks are 'launched' from the weir by the Cobham Mill and float down the river to the finish line by the new Riverhill platform. The first 11 ducks to pass the finish line all win a prize:-

1st Prize £250

2nd Prize £200

3rd Prize £100

3 further prizes of £50

and

5 additional prizes of £20

Duck race tickets are now available and can be purchased for £1 each from Knight Frank Estate Agents (Cobham High St) and at the following Cobham locations during August and September 2013. Duck tickets will of course be available on Heritage Day but last year they sold out by 2pm so we recommend you get your duck tickets in advance.
