Cobham Bookshop Saved!
Many of you will recall in the last chairman’s message, the plight of our independent shops in Cobham and in particular our bookshop.
Many of you on learning this went out and bought books! Thank you for supporting this important local shop.
We are delighted to report that Jane and Bert Black together with Lou and Stephen Morana have stepped in to acquire the lease. Many of you will remember Jane as she was the first Secretary of this Trust back in 2005. We wish them well in this exciting venture and their press release can be viewed here.
