A nostalgic, poignant and insightful view of Cobham and the surrounding villages during the Great War, with interesting anecdotes and rare photographs. This social history has been combined with a Roll of Honour recognising the local men who died in the service of their country.
This fascinating hardback book of over 500 pages has been painstakingly researched by the authors Graeme S. R. Austin and David J. Cooke as part of the Cobham Remembers project.
Copies can be ordered direct from Cobham Heritage at £16.50 per copy plus £3.50 postage & packing for up to 2 books and £7 postage & packing for up to 4 books (UK mainland only). Postage & packing is free if collected from one of our Open Meetings. Prepaid orders will also be available postage free if collected from Knight Frank Estate Agents in Cobham.
