Cobham Conservation and Heritage Trust

Dawn Chorus with the Surrey Wildlfe Trust

International Dawn Chorus Day

On International Dawn Chorus Day (6th May 2012), come and join Surrey Wildlife Trust Voluntary Warden Pete Bickford for a glorious early morning walk to enjoy the sights and sounds of Wisley Common.

Pete will teach you how to identify different bird species by their call, sight and habitat. We will walk through various habitats such as heathland and woodland to compare the different species found in each. Then join us, if you wish, for a warming cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate and a pastry and get the opportunity to ask Pete any questions you may have about what you have learnt. Please make sure you are warmly dressed and binoculars would be useful if you have them.

Location: Wisley Common, Ockham & Chatley Heath

Date: Sunday 06 May 2012, 05:00 AM - 07:30 AM

BOOKING IS ESSENTIAL, to book please call Katy Gower on 01483 795471.

Please visit the Surrey Wildlife Trust website for more details.
